Stephen Darby, Bradford City Visit Oct '14
Year 4 children were very lucky to have Bradford City's captain Stephen Darby come in and speak about his life as a professional footballer. The children spent the morning writing poems to give to him then he answered questions, posed for photos and signed autographs. Q) What is it like playing for Bradford City? It's amazing playing in front of so many great fans each week.
Q) Do you prefer playing for Bradford or Liverpool? I supported Liverpool as a kid and I loved playing for them but I've played my best football at Bradford and it has been great being captain.
Q) What do coaches and managers look for? It's the same as at school, football coaches always look for people who listen and try their best.
The children really enjoyed the visit and will definitely be supporting Stephen and the rest of the Bradford City team this season!
